Langtang Valley Trek

The Langtang Valley Trek is the closest major trekking destination to Kathmandu. Trek through lush forests of rhododendron and bamboo to the stunning Langtang Valley, surrounded by glaciers and towering peaks including Langtang Lirung (7,227m). Visit Kyanjin Gompa monastery and climb Tserko Ri (4,984m) for panoramic views. The region is home to the Tamang people whose culture blends Tibetan and Nepali traditions.
